Central Calareras Fire

Firefighter Training

Training plays a crucial role in the preparedness of any organization. In the Central Calaveras Fire and Rescue Protection District, we not only take training very seriously, we are very proud of the training activities we undertake. At 6:30 on the second and forth Tuesday evenings of the month, you will find all of the Firefighters of our district gathering at Station 1. (OK, not if it’s a holidayy, but you get the idea.) We welcome visitors, and it is a great way to get to know your Firefighters, maybe you will want to join us!

This section of our website is under active development. The links below are just the beginning of what promises to be an important part of our training program.

Road List Adobe Acrobat Document
The Road List document is a comprehensive list of all known (to us) and mapped roads in the district. It includes Township and Range, address number ranges, road length, and directions to the road. It is a vital part of our efforts to map the district to ensure that response times are as fast as possible. If you know of a road that is not included on this list, or find an error in this list, please contact us.

Fire Weather Terms Adobe Acrobat Document
This is a glossary of Fire Weather Terms

Fire Fighter II Standards Adobe Acrobat Document
This document is a comprehensive listing of all of the skills, knowledge, and abilities that must be demonstrated by the Volunteer Firefighter in order to earn the Firefighter 2 Certification in our district.
