2. Training: There were three (3) training sessions in February with an average attendance of fourteen. Subjects of study were: PASS System, ICS Overview, SCBA, Fire Service Hydraulics/Water Supply, Class A Foam Application and Terrorism Consequence Management.

3. Personnel: New Volunteer F/F, FEMA Grant Deadline: 4/11/03

5. Apparatus: E-124 (Type-II) failed pump service test: 3/4/03, being repaired.

6. Chiefs Association: County Fire District’s roles & responsibilities during WMD Threats/Incidents and “County’s Response Plan” on WMD Threats/Incidents. Calaveras Foothills Fire Safe Council Chipper Grant and who’s going to operate them, when & the liability, etc. County Accountability Implementation/Training, Live Fire (Structural) Training for Volunteer Academy: 3/22/03 0800-hrs, State Budget status and the closure of CDF’s 22-Fire Watch Towers statewide.

7. Miscellaneous: Correspondence 3/7/03 from Richard Enkelis, Attorney, Pasadena, Ca concerning a lawsuit (Payoff Demand Statement) at 6098 Quartz Mine.
