2.            Training:  There were two training sessions in November with an average attendance of seventeen.  Subjects of study were:  Structural/Hose Evolutions (Hands-On), Personal Protective Gear Inspection and Auto Extrication (Hands-On).

 

3.            Personnel:  One new volunteer,    

 

4.            Building and Grounds:  On-going! Mr. Myers & Mother Lode Propane firing up fire stations heating systems for the winter.

5.            Apparatus: U-122 (Olive Drab Pickup) out-of-service, Thanks to Ch Powers and Copperopolis Fire for repairing Patrol-121 & Patrol-122.   

 

6.         Chiefs Association:  2004 Assn. Officers: Pres. Ch Schuller; V.P. Ch Gill; Treas. Ch Horner & Sec. Ch Pereira. Fire Districts Worker Compensation coverage extended through Wednesday, 06/30/2004 with county, and another meeting with BOS on Monday, 12/15/03 @ 1000 AM (S.A.) debating workers comp issues/coverage, fire districts with workers comp issues should attend. Scene safety/security concerns with fire districts & personnel addressed, new county fire maps being designed, Thursday, 01/01/04 Residential Burn Barrels will not be permitted, Air Pollution will site violators. CICCS 300 Level applications due by 03/01/04 for CICCS Peer Group review.           

7.            Miscellaneous:  District Christmas Party Saturday, 12/13/03 @ 6:30 PM at Fire Station #1, FEMA Grant (for training) received on 11/21/03. Happy Holidays!!!!
