2.         Training:  There were four training sessions in September with an average attendance of fifteen.  Subjects of study were:  EMS-FR Skills (Hands-On) and three CPR/AED Certification Sessions.

 

3.         Personnel: One new volunteer firefighter, Mr. Skip Butler, Sheep Ranch Road

5.         Apparatus: All in Service!

 

6.         Chiefs Association: No feedback from the County CAO Mitchell concerning Workers Comp & the Water Enhancement Fee issues; CDF drops from two engines to one engine on 10/13/03 at West Point & San Andreas; Future GSA Wild land Fire Shelter purchases; discussion on potential new County EMS Ambulance Zones, Board of Supervisors Study Session to be held on October 14, 2003 at 1330-hrs; Ch Gill will be the Rep for the Cal County Chief’s on the County Training Officers Assn;               

    

7.         Miscellaneous: Two Structure Fires with heavy property/content loss at 9521 Mountain Ranch Road, Mountain Ranch on 09/20/03 @ 1511-hrs estimated loss of $180,000.00 & 1395 Spruce Gulch Road, Rail Road Flat on 10/07/03 @ 0525-hrs with an estimated loss of $20,000.00; All CCFRPD personnel are EMT's or EMS 1st Responder and CPR/AED certified, and SCBA Mask Fitted in compliance with OSHA mandates.
