2.         Training: There were three training sessions in December with an average attendance of sixteen.  Subjects of study were:  (EMS) Heat and Cold Emergencies, Tire Chains Training, Auto Extrication, Blood-Born Pathogens.

 

3.         Personnel: Awaiting new female volunteer firefighter application.

5.         Apparatus: R-121’s back in service (Box), R-123 out of service (Box) in Sonora for repairs, P-122 still awaiting glow-plug replacement, Upgraded R-123’s alternator so batteries don’t fail.   

 

            6. Chiefs Association: Completed and submitted the 2003 Calaveras County ICS Positions /Courses/Qualifications Matrix to CDF’s Division Chief Keith Larkin, Calif. Incident Command Certification System Training Seminar Saturday, 01/18/03 @ 0900-1300-hrs Angels Camp Fire on system implementation for fire agencies, Volunteered to be on Operations Committee for Chief’s Assn, Board of Supervisors Meeting 01/09/03 to discuss EMS/Ambulance Task Force committee.    

7.               Miscellaneous: CCFRPD responded to a total of 295 emergency calls for the year 2002, attended Calaveras Foothills Fire Safe Council Meeting 01/07/03, FSCC Mark Valle still forming, next meeting 02/04/03 San Andreas @ 6:00 PM, Mission is to preserve California’s natural and manmade resources by mobilizing all Californians to make their homes, neighborhoods and communities fire safe.
