2.            Training:  There were three training sessions in December with an average attendance of nineteen.  Subjects of study were:  Confine Space (Awareness Level) 4-hrs and completion of CSTI’s HazMat FRO Decon Course (8-hrs), which also complies with 29CFR1910.120 (q) & Title-8, CCR 5192(q) for HazMat FRO Refresher requirements and implementation of district’s SOG-18A, HazMat Decon Guidelines. 

 

3.            Personnel: Terminated four personnel for none attendance of mandated training.     

 

4.            Building and Grounds: 

            Station #1: Electrical battery charger line ran for WT-121.

            Station #3: Apparatus bay door repaired.

5.            Apparatus: All in service! Annual servicing will be start in February (E-123) 1st.     

 

6.         Chiefs Association: Next scheduled meeting 01/14/04 @ 9:00 A.M.

 

7.            Miscellaneous: Applications for position of paid Firefighter/Driver Operator closes on 01/09/2004 @ 5:00 P.M. Fire District Board Member Training on February 20, 2004, 9: 00 AM through 12:00 noon at the Sacramento Marriott Hotel, 11211 Point East Drive, Sacramento. Training to be through the Fire Districts Assn. of California (FDAC), cost $50.00 per-person. Board members are encouraged to attend.
