To Potential Sponsors:

On behalf of the Central Calaveras Firefighters Association in Mountain Ranch, California, please consider partnering with us as a corporate sponsor for our 2nd Annual "Stop, Drop & Mud 5K".  This run will take place on April 28, 2018, and will start and finish at the Mountain Ranch Community Park in the heart of Mountain Ranch.  The funds raised from this event will be used to purchase new test equipment for the new SCBA’s (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus) purchased in 2017 thanks to the inaugural mud run, for the Central Calaveras Fire & Rescue Protection District.

As a potential corporate sponsor, there are a variety of sponsorship levels to choose from. Accompanying each sponsorship level is a variety of benefits for you and your business. Why Sponsor the Mud Run?

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Central Calaveras Firefighters Association, a non-profit organization that works to assist the effectiveness of the Central Calaveras Fire and Rescue Protection District (Central Fire) in the preservation and protection of life and property within the Central Fire response area.

First, your contribution will help us purchase essential equipment for Central Fire that the state and county do not provide.  The Association also helps to recruit and retain our volunteer firefighters.

Second, your brand will be showcased to up to 500 competitors, friends, family and volunteers during the pre-race marketing, training process, on race day, and long after in the form of merchandise, commemorative items, and memories that will last forever.

Last, sponsorships may be deductible as trade or business expenses if they are ordinary and necessary in the conduct of your business.

  • The 2018 5K Mud Run is our 2nd Annual Mud Run event and the only event of its kind to be held in our area.
  • Mud/Obstacle events are hugely popular!
  • This is a huge opportunity for your company to be seen as part of a fun, family-oriented, successful, and growing event.

Central Fire and its Association feel that physical fitness, outdoor recreation and community events are a vital part of our small community.  Events like this Mud Run help us come together as a community.
